Miss Faderewski graduated summa cum laude from Robert Morris University with a bachelor of arts in communication. She is employed as a communications coordinator at FedEx Ground in Moon Township, PA. Mr. Landreneau received a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and a master of science in immunology from the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. He is a candidate for Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. A June wedding is planned at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Pittsburgh, PA.

They renewed their wedding vows with Father Joseph McCaffrey at Chartiers Country Club surrounded by their six children and their spouses, eighteen grandchildren, and endeared relatives and friends. They were married at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Beechview on July 11, 1964.

The newlyweds met while attending Case Western School of Dental Medicine. They honeymooned in Paris and Amsterdam. Bill and Khani practice in Brick and Toms River, New Jersey, respectively. They reside in Long Branch, New Jersey.

KELLY ADERHOLD WEDS JOSHUA HANSEN Kelly Loren Aderhold and Joshua Robert Hansen celebrated their marriage on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at Orcutt Ranch in West Hills, California, along with their families and friends. Josh, 28, is a restaurant supervisor in hospitality and Kelly, 29, is an actress and stand-in. Kelly is the daughter of Terry and Marie Aderhold of Montoursville, PA. Her father, Terry is a retired electrical engineer who headed project engineering for the Apollo Lunar Module Guidance and Navigation system. Her mother is a retired registered nurse and healthcare insurance consultant. Josh is the son of Mrs. Carrie Wright of McKeesport, PA, and Mr. Danie Czura of Pittsburgh, PA. His mother is an optometrist assistant and his father is a computer programmer. Kelly and Josh met at the University of Pittsburgh, where they both graduated Magna Cum Laude, Josh with a Bachelor of Art Degree in Theatre Arts, Kelly with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Science. They currently reside in Los Angeles, CA.

JO and JOSEPH SMERDEL Congratulations to Joseph and Jo (Eloise) Smerdel who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this summer. Joe and Jo, as they are affectionately known to family and friends, met at a school dance and were married five years later on June 13, 1964, at Sacred Heart Parish in Shadyside. Joe is a graduate of the school of business at the University of Miami where he played guard and defensive tackle for the legendary Hurricanes. Jo graduated from Carlow College in Oakland and earned her master's degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh. They have resided in beautiful Murrysville since moving from Point Breeze in 2000. Near lifelong Pittsburghers, they have built a prosperous life and wouldn't consider raising their family anywhere but here. Joe spent most of their married life as a member of the Boilermakers Union 154 where he retired in 2000. Jo taught high school biology at Joe's alma mater, the prestigious Central Catholic High School. She also spent time in the City and suburban schools before ending her career in the Woodland Hills School District. In addition to teaching at WHHS, she was named Science Department Chairperson and ultimately the Science Gifted Coordinator, all while teaching anatomy and physiology classes at CCAC Boyce before dimming her microscope for the last time in June of 2006. For the couple who sacrificed it all for their kids, they are finally enjoying the brilliance of Europe and plan to return next year. They are the proud parents of three children: Kristine Louise (Yanalitis), Paul Joseph and Joi Catherine (Brook). They are also consummate grandparents to 4 grandchildren who are the joy of their lives! Any time not spent globe- trotting or antiquing will surely find them with Tristian, Rachael Kate, Hayden or Channing. Their special day was celebrated with a family gathering on the very shore where they spent their honeymoon, Ocean City, N.J. Congratulations Mom & Dad! Thank you both for teaching us how to play and live life to the fullest, as well as showing us how to love, give, and have it all. We love you!! Happy 50th Anniversary!

Lydia is the Human Resources Manager at Star Transportation. Jean is employed at Brand Energy Infrastructure. The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba and will reside in the Pittsburgh area.

MEGAN HACKWORTH AND JESSE LEAX TO WED Donald and Kathleen Hackworth of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan, to Jesse Leax, son of Robert and Barbara Leax, also of Monroeville. Megan's grandparents are Donald and Mary Hackworth of the North Hills, Pennsylvania, the late Thomas Curry, and the late Ursula Anne Curry, both of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Jesse is the grandson of the late James and Ellen Leax of Forest Hills, Pennsylvania, and the late Alfred and Rose Marie Pugliano of Monroeville. The future bride is a graduate of Gateway High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where she received degrees in developmental psychology and early childhood education. Megan works as a teacher at Urban Pathways K-5 College Charter School in Pittsburgh. Her fiancé is a graduate of Gateway High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he received his degree in accounting. Jesse works for the David Fetch Corporation in Wilkinsburg. The couple also has their own marketing business. A November 2014 wedding is planned.

Bill and Carole are the proud parents of Jodi (Mark) Martin, Edward (Tricia) Latkovic, and Kathleen (Brian) Schrenker. They are blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Alyson, and Maggie. Bill and Carole celebrated by taking a cruise to the Western Caribbean with their children and grandchildren. Their children also hosted a dinner at Bella Vista Restaurant on Mt. Washington with family and friends.
