Matt and Edna Dawida
celebrated 70 year s of
wedded bliss on Januar y 5,
2019, at a par ty given by
their ?ve children, Mike,
Sandy, Shelly, Mar k, and
Maria. They were mar ried on
Januar y 6, 1949 by Rev.
Rober t Whitaker. They have
spent their year s enjoying
each other, their children
and their spouses, and the
company of their twelve
grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren. When asked
what they attribute their
long mar riage to, they stated
"having a beer-meister in the
kitchen helped greatly!"
