My Teen Years
Where do I begin
Where do I go from here
Telling you of my teen years
Without any restraint or fear
I wasn't good in sports
I loved the arts and music
I was terrible in shop class
And would do anything to refuse it
My very first car was a Chevy
And I ran it to the ground
I always loved going fishing
But a garage band was where I was bound
Started performing at bars and weddings
Which was the absolute joy of my life
And meeting the ladies in between
Left me no time for a wife
Poetry was soon to sneak in
But still on the backburner yet
Got a job at Potomac Pharmacy
With the very best boss you bet
Not much else in my teen years
Just memories that were really quite nice
And should you ask were there any regrets
Well I guess I'd just roll the dice
