MAGGIE ANNE GIEL WEDS ANDREW LAMAR BOVAIRD Maggie Anne Giel, of Glenshaw, PA and Andrew Lamar Bovaird, of DuBois, PA were married on July 26, 2014, at Elfinwild Presbyterian Church, Glenshaw, PA. Rev. Terry Stoops and Rev. Bethany Harbaugh performed and officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at The Chadwick in Wexford, PA. A wedding trip to the Outer Banks followed the celebration. Matron of Honor was Nichole Sible and the Maid of Honor was Kayleigh Anglum, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids included Sara Farley, Brittany Firman, and Danielle Kaizer, college friends and sorority sisters of the bride and Becky Little, sister-in-law. Best man was Colin Cilladi, a friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Nathan Bernardo, Nicholas Scull, Jonathan Weber, and Patrick Brown, friends of the groom and James Giel III, brother-in-law. Flower girl was Lucy Little, niece of the groom. Maggie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Giel, Jr. of Glenshaw, PA and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Giel, Glenshaw, PA, and William Unrath and Barbara Lanke, and Jane Fadzen, all of the North Hills suburbs of Pittsburgh. She is a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of Thiel College, where she is a member of the Alumni Board and a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a master's of education in school counseling. Andrew is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bovaird of DuBois, PA and the grandson of the late William and Jean Bovaird and Madelyn and Lamar Puyda, all of Dubois, PA. He is a 2009 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and a 2012 graduate of Carlow University with a master of science degree in fraud and forensics. The happy couple resides in Pittsburgh.
